For Ian and/or anybody else who needs "non-standard"cores from me:
(standard cores are cut without the leading and trailing edges)

Let me know the make up of the wing you intend to build for which you need cores from me.
I need to know if your wing will be with or without the basswood leading edge and if you intend to use the standard 1/16" balsa sheeting or something else.

Keep in mind that if you deviate too much from the standard core and composition you might have an issue fitting it to the fuselage wing saddle.
I'm warning you of this because I don't have a BD5 fuselage on hand to be able to double check the fitment (!) of the cores I will be cutting.
This might not be a huge issue with the true scratch builders with access to vast quantities of splooge, but I thought I'd put the disclaimer in!

It's not going to build itself

I would like some non standard, full trailing edge cores please.
You can make mine like Ian’s. I usually sheet with 1/64” ply, so I’ll need my own L/E.
Imperfections are the norm for most of my builds, so fitment issues are not an issue to me.
Thanks,
Tom

Hi Matin I would like a trailing edge, thin is good. Ian
Ok I will use 1/2 bass or poplar leading edge 1/64 ply, I will be baging it in light cloth, gonna try to keep the weight down, so I can fly with everyone at Cajone. Canít wait to get this plane going. Ian

Got it Ian.
It's a little more customized at the LE compared to the rest..... But That's not a problem.
