Since I slacked off this fall and didn't design anything new we are falling back on an extisting plane. After some back and forth discussions this years group build will be the BD-5. Probably not the most exciting choice but it has a lot going for it. It flies great! It's easy to build, and the fuse is cavernous so you can use whatever gear you have laying around. No need for any micro stuff here. Oh and you can paint it any darn way you please and it still looks scale.

So short kits (fuse and cores) are $150
If you want the pre-shaped basswood leading edges add $30

I have a few questions.
Will anyone be posting their build??
I’m thinking about joining but the build process looks quite involved. I’m not that I am sure I’m up to the task. But if others are showing the work they do. I could simply follow the lead supplied by others.

Also they look tough to fly and even tougher to land.
I seem to have issues with landing.

Lastly if I build it ... do I have to “Toss it”
