Seb Art USA

All,

I know many of you in the US (myself included) have been disappointed with the lack of availability pertaining to Seb Art products through the current distributor (JR Americas). I am in contact with Seba and we are working on getting the first container of Seb Art products to the US - I will be operating under the name "Seb Art USA".

In the meantime, I have setup a Facebook page @SebArtUSA and will be putting together a website. If there are airframes/parts you would like to order, please send me an email. The first container is not finalized yet so I can add additional items.

Stay tuned for updates!

Congratulations and best of luck.

JR America wouldn’t order Sebart 2m planes since they were too large.

Thanks Itc.

Yeah, not sure why JRA used the size as the excuse for not bringing them in. Certainly the shipping cost goes up a bit but clearly other companies (F3A Unlimited) were able to bring in 2M planes.

Down the road, if you decide you want to give the Prometheus Bipe a try, let me know.

Thank you, that is very nice of you.

Trust me I tried to buy the 2m Prometheus bipe from JRAmerica (and a yellow/black/red mini Avanti S as well. After almost 2 years I just gave up on those ******

But ended up buying the Mriya 2m biplane instead. Nice plane.

Iím sorry to say that JRA didnt do you or the Sebart name any good during their tenure.

Couldn't agree more Itc - it will be a bit of an uphill climb to regain customer trust/confidence in the brand (from a US perspective) given the lack of support from JRA over the last couple years. Hopefully there is still consumer appetite because these Seb Art airframes really do fly great.

Have you considered posting your information here in the Vendor forum?
https://www.rcgroups.com/vendors-189/
Sebart planes cover a lot of various areas of interest

I’d also suggest a thread in the RCUniverse Electric Pattern forum as well

Hi,
NIce to hear You guys in US will be able to buy Sebart planes easier now in US.
Personally I have very good experience with Sebart pattern planes, for many years (I own 4 of them from 30-seize to 2M-seize).
Our current National Champion in F3A in my country fly Sebart PrometheuS 2M biplane and he is satisfied with the plane both regarding quality and flight characteristics. He use Adverrun AVR15 Contra in his plane.
