Question

Better umx plane to do 3d umx yak 54 180 vs umx yak 54 vs umx p3 revolution

Hi, I'm looking for a micro plane to fly home and these are the finalists.
the yak 54 180 I love it but it costs 160 €. On the other hand, the P3 revolution costs € 99. The price difference is a lot, is the p3 so capable of doing 3d as the yak?

There is also the option of umx yak foamie. This I do not like so much aesthetically but I think it will have the behavior more similar to a larger 3d plane. I'm right?
Any help is welcome. I want to spend my money correctly. Thank you!

I've had p3 and yak and I'd reccomend buying a value hobby 32" profile or a twisted hobbies. The yak is extremely fragile so not a fan and the P3 is just alright at best at 3D. I don't bother to fly either after building a couple 32" value hobby planes.

I just can't recommend any of the little Eflites for 3d. None of them do it well. I've had the UMX Sbach and it just isn't good at it. I've only flown it like 3 times before crashing and breaking the prop, haven't flown it since. I've just got better and more versatile planes to fly.

Get a Valuehobby or TwistedHobbys plane. I like the Twisted kit quality but it is 3 times the price of a valuehobby kit. Either of them in a 32" size can be built with a few flight batteries for less than the price of a BNF Eflite plane. They are very easy to build too. Go on Twisted's site and read one of the build manuals. They are detailed and should give you some reassurance that you can do the build yourself no prob.

I have not flown the 180 yak 54 but I do own the 1s yak 54 and the p3. The p3 Is hard to 3D but if you can, its a lot of fun. It is more of a high energy plane. The 1s yak 54 flys great! But it does lack power for a 3d plane. I upgraded my motor to a 17000 kV motor from Micro Motor Warehouse and now it flies just the way I want. I also had to upgrade that battery connector because the old one couldnt handle the new motor. I would recommend the yak if you did those two mods.
