Hello guys,

I want to go maiden one of these day's.
My Question:
Do i need to change the servo rate from 100% to less like 70%.
If yes, do i need to change these settings in Inav or the transmitter? I'm planning flying maiden in "Manual mode".

On RC site the advantage is, You can switch between 100% and 70%.

My experience:
You need more elevator than aileron.

Happy landing

Using Inav, never limit anything on RC side.

Knowing the plane - just copy OliverC pids, angle mode, full throttle and go.
it WILL fly good.

I agree.
I just loweed rates a little (from Olivier's).
On manual I've got 80% throws (in Inav), but it depends how you mounted linkage in servo arm and control surface.
But like Karamba wrote - angle, full thr and go.
I almost always fly this plane in angle.
On the side note - this is now my favorite if I want to go higher (of course I mean legally).
It climbs so good and fast

Anyone else have motor issues? I almost lost my Dart today due to the motor failing mid flight. Theres about 25 miles on this motor. Not even two full batteries.

well... my motor ran over last year, maybe 1000km - about 30 km every weekend, i dont even know - lazy to count. Half of those at -20C and below. And some rains... yes.
some ripped off propellers and motormounts, several crashes.
none of what you got. Bearings started to be noicy, and i already got sunnysky 2216 - 3 1400KV, But still - it works.

That's good to hear. I'll still most likely put SunnySky's in both of my Darts, as I'm having a hard time feeling confident with ZOHD motors. Too much time and money invested in these planes to risk losing it over a $20 motor.

What kind of waterproofing (if any) did you do? I think it would be awesome to fly in a light rain, but I'm too scared.

Just a friendly reminder, Always ensure your batteries are secured before launching!! It was a heck of a launch, almost lost it but was able to save it from crashing.

Always secure your batteries properly!! Turn volume down!!! (0 min 45 sec)

Does someone knows a good alternative motor?
I bend my motor due a crash. i dont want to wait a month for a new one.
Someone tried a other brand motor with the same dimension maybe a motor from hobbyking?
