Shame on you

I prefer foam wheels, cut from a strong foam garden kneeling mat, plus a 'hubcap' cut from the bottom of a drinks can to add a touch of style .

Balsa and foam?
How about 3D printed (the fuselage and wing ribs) and foam.

Description:
Just a touch of balsa (just the spar flanges) and glass fibre (the 'fishing rod' tail boom).
Simple, reliable and powerful!

Foam Eindecker Many years ago

This is a build I did many years ago. I flew this in the big hanger at the CAF in Midland, Tx. Fifi the B-29 away in attendance. There is a video of the flight posted on Youtube.

In the past I built dozens of foam planes.
After crashing alot, flying parkflyers in the street or small parks, on windy days,
I started using EPP.
In the beginning, it was a pain to work with, but I found ways to work with it.

I've built dozens of EPP planes now. Here's the last one I built.
At 3.2ozs, it will fly good, in 15mph winds.
I was looking to make a small windy day flyer, that was built fast.

Any chance of seeing the underside? I'd kinda like to copy that.

Here's a link to the build thread.
I raised the wing up to add some stability, give the prop some extra clearance
and give more under space to mount the batt.
