Was having lots of fun. Got a bit more range.
Then planted it into a fence and now the back left motor cuts in and out. Basically won't spin at anything more than about 10% power consistently. Switched motors and it seems to be location based as the motor that was there works fine in another spot. Was wet outside so I'm not sure if I finally got an unlucky droplet after lots of wet crashes, or if I knocked something in the crash. But I'm pretty much boned and need a new FC huh? |

If the problem remains on the same spot, it could be the ESC. But letting it dry out is certainly worth trying. Otherwise, if you can't spot any damage to the motor connectors or so, then it's likely you need a new FC.

Hoping it comes back to life or it'll be a pretty big bummer. Got some fun flying out of it but I was finally going to get to an open field today and now that's a flop. Messes up my plans for the rest of the month really. Might be able to salvage the event at the end of the month if I get lucky on shipping. There goes the accessories I was going to get though. Fingers crossed I'm bumming out for nothing... EDIT: Looks like my best bet for replacement in time is one without a receiver, and I wanted to add one anyway, just not sure how that'd work exactly (I'm on frsky with a qx7) |

pretty sure the board is done. Should be able to get parts in before the build party though so at least I won't be stuck trying to rebuild on my own and it should be better than stock when it's done.
I'll hold onto it just in case I can save it by directly soldering motors to it (couldn't see any obvious dmg but wiggling the connector did seem to change the motor behavior). Now that I'm a bit past the sadness of ruined flying plans and wounded budget I really do like the 2s brushless experience so I suspect I'm going to be collecting variations of these parts for a while so it was sooner than I had hoped but inevitable nonetheless. |

xm+ arrived, board is almost here. Just curious if anyone has put one on a mobula7/f4 v2.0 and/or could point me toward a good guide.
I'm probably going to just wait till I have more experienced folks around but I may want to try and tackle it myself and just want to know what I'd be getting into. |

My new Mobula 7 with a f4 board dmsx flies great but has terrible flight times. The stock HM 260, RDQ 300 and BetaFvp 650 batteries start beeping at around 1:30 m and If I ignore it I land at a little over 2 minutes. This is very docile indoor cruising on 1s. Would there be anything I can do to increase these times. I,m not charging them to HV 4.35 would that make much of a difference?

I'm getting about 4 minutes on a 1S 450mAh URUAV battery. Flown till about 3.2 volts but the batteries don't get hot, so don't seem really stressed. |

I have had good results taking the rolled pins out of the holder and carefully flowing solder down them.
