Help with Kyosho PT-19 e-conversion

I have recently got a Kyosho PT-19 that takes a .40 glow, but want to convert it to electric. I need help finding a motor system that will provide the same amount of thrust, yet weight the same if not less (prferably less).

Is there anyone out there that has done this conversion, or anyone know what I should use. I am from the old school (Astros with big ni-cads) and am not familiar with all the new stuff.......

I have not done this plane but I have done plenty of .40 conversions.

Axi 4120/18 and 5S or 6S pack of lipos that can handle ~45 amps. This usually means 2p for most of the current 10-12C, 2000-2500 mah cells. Castle Creations Phoenix 60 or 80 for the ESC with a UBEC to handle the radio and servos.

One old school technique that still works well is to call, NOT EMAIL, Kirk at New Creations for help!!

I recently converted an old stick that originally flew on a Astro 40 direct and 18 cells, then on 25G and 40G on 16-21 cells and finally the configuration listed above. The increase in performance and lighter AUW is amazing.
