Please examine the attached pic.

Floam is only just so strong.
Being so inexpensive I tend to fly them rougher than I would a Balsa & Ply model.
So the reinforcements provide a bit more durability.
I used MPF foam and it adds to the resilience and durability.

BLACK is the CF along the bottom of the inside fuse corner.
RED is the fuse to wing reinforcement since there is no "suspension "
PURPLE is a simple 1/8" ply plate glued to the bottom for LG attachment.
GREEN is where the Wing hold down pins are held.

My vimeo vid shows the instant take off capability and slow flight capability plus
a bit of my rough handling of the larger version.

Get Birdo to cut one for you and you're travelling deluxe.
Perfectly accurately cut MPF for tabbed assembly. Way to go!

It's been figured out that Birdo knows his stuff but I can't be relied upon.
It's a worry...

Well recognised! It is this https://hobbyking.com/en_us/hextroni...___store=en_us

Don't feel too bad, this working with pre cut parts instead of amorphous blocks of foam is new and fraught with risk for you!
Funny how carving your own plane can be easier than assembling a kit!

Marhar: there should be Plans on the Original Thread Search "Sowly"
or look in page 2 post 18 in this thread for the link.
https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show...and-Lake-Build

Use the "thread tool" SHOW ALL attachments
to quickly survey the Pix, Plans, and uploads from various readers.

Between Christen, Jugen and ggrimmly the final design has been remixed by a bunch of
innovative builders.
As for myself I have ...
1. Remixed it to include Slots & Tabs for easier aligned assembly ( fuse only )
2. Arraigned it on MPF standard sized sheeting in 3 sizes. ( the CNC term is Nesting )
3. Provided suggestions for strengthening and reinforcements.

Regardless ,
I have never gotten around to actually placing these on my web site offerings.
PM me to inquire about my cutting service.

I don't have actual/formal "plans" for my version , but ,
you can have my cutting layouts, which are all the parts.
They should already be in that original thread .
Let me know if you can't find them.

Springer:
Between us we have over 150 yrs of lost memory's !
It's a surprise that we can remember to breath.
I shipped that kit to Whiskers over a month ago.
That's way beyond my short term memory.

whiskers:
That motor was used on the HK ARF FOX Glider et al.
I had two of them on my build of peter seripols' "The Twins" .
The Fox still lives ,
however, I have managed to "TOAST" the other two, aka - crunchy coils :>{

So, make your motor mount amenable to alternative motor placement , just in case .

At our ages, we can't take ourselves too seriously! Way more fun to joke about it all.

Spooky!

In this strange interconnected world we live in I suppose I should not be surprised that YouTube has started offering me videos about the Slowly.
Like this:
FMT-DVD Schaummodell nach Downloadplan (5 min 20 sec)

How do they know?

Well yes, I am all those things and more. My only fault is that I am too modest.

The link was presented to me when I opened the YouTube page. This shows thumbnails usually, but not always, relating to things I have been watching.
On the right of the screen is a vertical strip of thumbnails touting a variety of subjects they think may interest me. I was somewhat startled to see 3 items featuring the Slowly in this list.
I guess Google Chrome sees all and knows all, but because of my previously mentioned impeccable character, I'm not worried.
