They did name it Slowly (sort of ) and I've mistakenly been calling it Slowfly.
Doh!

Is my tenuous grip on sanity slipping from my grasp?

Actually the thread is named Sowly, and I can't get the porcine implications out of my mind. Need to get him to change that!

i HAVE never FIGURED OUT HOW TO change the Title after saving it.

I looked a long time but found zip nada zilch !

I thought I had once explained the misspelling to youz guys once B4 ... hmmmm
I know I've mentioned it to some one else ... I think, sort of , maybe

So lets be SURE about this once more again vs repetitively redundant ...

Just don't watch the videos as you will soon get the notion that this plane will take off ACROSS the runway
just as easily as DOWN the runway.

I just watched the video and saw that the cabin brace is mounted externally.
Ours will be inside because, well just because...
And mine will never be hand launched. Never ever.

All the small motors I have are in planes, but this one is looking for a job.
It has a diameter of 40mm and weighs 80 grams. The prop sitting on it is 11 X 4.7 but I think I'll use a 10 inch one.
Thoughts?

Keep in mind that The version you have is larger than the original.
It is ~ 47" span and uses MPF.

Larger is easier to see too ;>}

I believe that that motor is the one HK used to call D700 or D750.
An inexpensive low KV motor for powered gliders like the Fox et al.

It Should work nicely.

At the speeds this thing operates,
I believe that Mr Reynolds can be emancipated.

Therefore you could STILL place those cabin braces on the outside
by simply gluing them as such.

Bob the trick to editing the title is twofold. First, only the thread starter/owner can do it. Second, he must edit the first post in advanced mode. The title will then show as editable. Not difficult, but not particularly intuitive either!

I didn't realize this is 47" span, gonna be a floater! A whole new experience for the WOT screaming around the patch whiskers!

Thanx Mike !

Good to know next time I have difficulty Proof reading my own stuff !

Only problem now is that I have mentioned the correction several times over the last yr or so
If it actually gets fixed then all my previous search recommends will not work.

I've been know to be WRONG before,
but this would add insult to injury ! ;>}
Both of minor consequence in the big picture

I don't think so, the threads go by the thread number, so your links should be ok. In order to fix it though ya have to get ggrimly to do it.

No, mine is the 36 inch version. So swinging a 10 inch prop should be nice.
I'm a tad concerned that this motor on the longish nose will pose a CG problem. But if so I can mount the servos in the tail so it'll be no big deal.

And it's not true that I'm on WOT full time. On many occasions I've dropped down to as low as 80%

They are going inside where they will not disrupt the smooth airflow over the fuselage.
I think they may have been an afterthought on the original.

Sorry , I thought I sent the 47" size.

Smaller motors , lighter loads, you're good to go !

OK, it is official. I am a moron.
It is the 47 size. How did I get that so wrong?
It's funny, I've been thinking the fuselage was looking awfully big for a 36 inch plane.
All is good now however. That motor will be fine,
