Can you go into the software and change the receiver selected to make it DSM2? I also have a DXe. Can I load a program to it and use that? I already have the Torrent program in my DXe. Will it fly with that program? OBTW, there's a place on Ebay offering this quad for $86!!!!!!!! Thanks.

Even some Eflight vehicles now require you to jump through hoops to run them on an existing transmitter. The simplicity they always used to justify their higher prices doesn't seem to be there anymore or they want you to buy a new transmitter that has the features they designed in.

Hey, be careful. Saying anything untoward about HH makes the local crowd itchy.
Speaking of crowd... where did they all go? If "Blade tuning is the best ever better than any Betaflight controller" when it was $150, then at $90 this thing should be all over the place. Incidentally, back in the day I had whipped up a spreadsheet breaking out the features of the Inductrix BL vs the obvious competitor. Every once in a while I update the price notes. Not much else has changed. I'm not sure if RCG markup allows tables so I put it in a PDF. Hope it helps! |

A new version of the Tiny Hawk just came out, but it isn't offered in a DSM version. Too many nice quads out there that leave us Spektrum types out.
The comparison sheet just about says it all. Yet another RC thing that doesn't come with at least one battery anymore. |

But they should have included a coupon or something for a free battery. Especially if they're going to release a dud product that hits LVC way too early and then blame the customer for using the wrong batteries. Instead they repeatedly just stuck it to the customers, and the customers love it. The Spektrum issue is, well... a Spektrum issue. |

I agree. With RC vehicles, many come with a NiMH battery that nobody wants or no battery which jumps the price up on whatever you buy.

In the betaflight power tab I usually set my minimum voltage to 2.8v, for a quad like that you can probably fly on 3v for quite a while before the battery is fully drained. As long as the voltage rises back to around 3v after applying throttle you should be alright, I wonder if you can flash jesc 48khz on these that'd probably help massively but one other thing you can do is score some 19k 0802 motors
