First flight with 35gr of ballast due to stormy conditions in Germany today.
No problems at all :-)
Wing withstands even hard launches into the wind.
Day after tomorrow should be calmer....

That mirror finish is amazing!

Did you wet sand in one direction before polishing? With what grit number did you start?

What a crazy start of the year. Too many hours spent at the factory. And I'm hardly find the time to open internet.

Thanks to all responses and feedback from all pilots.
We did some changes to light version construction.
Ailerons now are made of 65 fiber while main part of the wing has still 39 fiber.
No flutter now even at full power launches. Ailerons are stiff, hinge line is also much stronger.
The weight of the light wing is still 10-15 g less than standard version.

We also modified fuselage construction a little and glass tails has some reinforcements. Will post some pics later.

The next step is reinforced spar. We are testing different versions now.

They look great! Well done for the continuous improvements.

Are any of those wings destined for HyperFlight?

Neil.

A photo of how we did the 4 pcs BlueBird Servos inside the pod.
Just flew the maiden yesterday with a lot more flights today and I must say,
after flown most of the top ones, this is second to none..!!

RTF weighing at 232g (8.1 oz)
Using a 1S-500mAh battery and no need to add any lead.

Dmitriy:

OK, here is: 1.2mm piano wire supplied with the kit and a 1.0mm c/f rod, both tightened
together with a piece of kevlar thread and CA glue.

I was reading the setup for this plane. I note that, unlike the planes I have had, the launch setting has reflex instead of camber. Does it make a difference in this plane? Thanks.

The wing is milled in thermal mode, not in cruise(distance) like some others.
That's why it's necessary to keep ailerons up a little during launch.
