I know the Inside out.....
Hi Ian,

You say ‘it is one of my favs’

I do not know what dlg’s you have. But can you reflect on how it compares with your other dlg’s?

Launch height? How does it compare?

Is it quite dynamic in terms of flying? Like NXT? Or forgiving, like Vortex?

Thanks!

Roger

Hi Roger,

right now I have vortex3 and Bamf, and some 1 meters. I'd say it flys more like the vortex3 in that its pretty forgiving and can pretty mu ch fly its self, In the proper conditions...Havent flown NXT but im interested in it...I do have my throws set a bit higher the Dimitry's recommended but I do like it a bit more aerobatic and I wanted to match the bamf "feel" as much as possible. Launch height is pretty good. I can only get to 188ft with Auri where as Bamf I can get 195'.
I haven't made any balast for it yet either so I'm anxious to see how it does at 240-260 grm

Can someone educate me on what the "strong" version would be and if I'd need that over the regular version? I'm looking to fly just for the fun of it right now. Thanks!

The strong version of most DLG's has a heavier fabric in the wings and occasionally additional spar reinforcing. For a fun fly plane the performance delta over a standard or light is generally small but the added durability off the field is a plus.

Buy the strong version! The light version dents easily, and may be
Only 10 -15 gram difference!

Today I could finally assemble mine

Chose the strong version with pink tails, pre-assembled and covers. Jeremy printed me that nice servoframe for the A10s.

Really impressed by the quality of the kit and the quality of the pre-assembly.
For example the peg-installation is pretty nice and even for the tail-springs small tubes were installed.

Came out at 224gr at CG 66,5mm
with BlueBird A10s, FrSky G-RX8, 16gr 600mah 1S, 3 gr lead for CG.

Only disappointment is that I missed to order the 2,4ghz ready fuselage nose.
So I have to drill holes for the antennas.

Cant wait for the first flight :-)

You'll see in flight, it's clean, easy, stable, ...
It can be slow and fast at a time.
I love it.
