Anybody succeed in getting camera control to work on this FC with camera with GND and OSD pins ?
Edit: looks like the BP9 pad is a pad dedicated for cam. control. It's a little bit odd that they didin't mention it in manual... |

BP9 pad??? is that on f4 mini or full size. cant see that pad on my 30x30 fc. I had to use led pad and an inline resistor.

I got one and it went bad when perfomring initial setup in betaflight - no startup tones or gyro. Got replacement yesterday and similar problem but this one has never spun a motor. So disappointed!

I'm liking this stack so far, but one things been bugging me for the last couple of days. Does anyone know how to adjust the Real Time Clock on this? status shows the Current Time with the correct date and time, but UTC, not local time. I can't seem to find a way to change the timezone to -5. Google is getting me nowhere.

My bad - I was setting up Betaflight OSD, added Rtc Date Time which showed up in my goggles as I was previewing the OSD layout. When I unplugged the FC from my computer, still plugged into the battery, the date/time was still functioning on my OSD. That's why I assumed it was a function of the FC itself. It wasn't until I powered up from battery alone without having been in Betaflight, that I could see the Date/Time was not in the OSD. If I connect the FC to Betaflight I see the date/time pop onto the OSD where it stays till I power cycle the FC.

Is the FC soft mounted? I know it comes with the gummies but I also have mine on those soft mount stands. I also have my motors soft mounted. If you still have issues, make sure your CPU is not over worked. Also could be bad PIDs, have you tuned? Are you using the included low esr cap? Have you trimmed your TX inputs so the channels aren't jumping around on the receiver tab? What esc settings have you played with? I'm running dshot 600 no problem. Also just spot check all the soldering and make sure you didn't have any solder spot somewhere on the FC or ESC. These are just a few things I can think of off the top of my head without knowing what actual symptoms you're experiencing and how you determined it was noise (blackbox?) Or random flip or roll of death? Or what. Either way, hope this helps, just a couple things I would try

To be honest it is the first time I encounter such behaviour that it is hard to describe it.
I haven't used the black box yet, as I have never had to do it in the past. Every time there is a stick input in the Roll Axis the motors make a noise like if theyare asked to spool up really hard. It is like a clicking noise for every input!!!!! That doesn't happen on the Pitch or Yaw Axis which make me thing that it might be a bad gyro!! |
