Hi everybody,

Today I'm been testing the new RX5808 PRO PLUS OSD mod receiver and it happened something that I didn't expect: The OSD has stopped working!

The first day I used it for 3 minutes, the OSD worked properly, but I don't know why now I only see diagonal lines and noise when the OSD option is turned ON.

What can I do to sort it out?

Postscript: I don't if I'm allowed to update the firmware, because I never activated, was preinstalled

You gotta restart the module (cut power and reboot) after activating the OSD. Try that and report back.

You should also be able to update the firmware I imagine. The firmware is licensed individually. Though take this comment for what it's worth, as I don't own this specific module.

I did that and nothing happened, I couldn't solve the problem.

My update is the 1.8, is there a new one?

Am I gonna need a key or something like that?

Did you have any luck fixing it?

If not you can try some software I've been writing. I've used it on the realacc module without issue.

That sounds like a hardware issue, but you can try reflashing the firmware from AchilleS Website. 1.9.0 it's out as well. I would clear the eprom to start with a fresh install. If the problem persist, you can very likely still get a refund or an exchange.
