Mine has never flown correctly since the motor nacelle servo stripped and it crashed....put new servos in and still flies erratically

Another 50 flights or so, since my last post.
Totally enjoying this crazy 4D mini machine!
Been spending more and more time in inverted flight.
I keep my elevator set at 10% neg expo.
Elevator stick is highly sensitive while inverted.
I love to pop her from inverted to upright.
She will practically eat her own tail.
If you push the stick quick enough, all the forward momentum is lost.
The Mini C will finish the maneuver upright with zero ground speed.
Looks oh so cool but ending up in Plane Acro Mode with zero ground speed can be an adventure.
Give yourself a fighting chance by having some extra altitude.

Don't do like I did today...
Low, downwind, inverted in PAM.
Coming directly at myself.
Pushed too hard on the elevator stick.
She didn't stop at the upright position.
Full 360° endo, finishing inverted with zero ground speed.
Inverted, 20ft off the deck in PAM mode.
A real pickle!
All I had time to do was aileron roll to upright and pancake her in.
Thankfully I fly over grass and got her level.
It was a totally flat pancake hit.
Both the hatch cover and the front canopy blew off and went skyward.
Both front motors/props tucked fully under the nacelles.
I quickly unplugged the batt and assessed the damage.
Damage was practically ZER.
Two bent props and re-glue the front canopy.
No structural or servo damage.
Awesome!!

I reattached the front canopy with Foam-tac and installed two new props.
Test hovered her in the garage and all systems are GO.
One tough bird!

Sure hope I'm not the only one out there that is enjoying this bird.
My total parts investment has been glue & a set of props.
I have backup metal gear servos ready to go and have never needed them.

It sounds like you are having a blast with this one! Too bad you don't do videos

I got burned pretty bad on the big one that I'm not sure about popping $170 or whatever on the little one, but man I really want one!

I think the PNP may be on sale for $99, I'll check how much a receiver costs for it

Hmmm, looks like it may be only $125 for the PNP and the recommended receiver.

Does the BNF version come with the SPM4648 receiver?

The receiver is only $25, so whether it’s $99 without rx or $125 for the pnp you end up running close to the same

On The Fly: Mini Convergence

Somehow I missed this promo vid
Shows the Mini C in the real world.
Highlights the durability and simplicity very well.

The PNP is now $80 and the receiver is $25, so you can have a Mini C for $105 now

I just ordered mine this morning. I was tempted to order a spare MC, but I resisted. Hopefully they still have them at that price after I fly mine and decide if I like it. Now I can blow the dust off my old 850mah batteries

That's the way it always works. When I saw you post that your received yours it's almost like I had a 6th sense feeling telling me to wait a couple days.
