It's not the classic Tamiya. It's a bigger one. The body is made by Team Bluegroove and the chassis is my 3D printed design.

I've been ill with a cold or flu like thing for over a week now so haven't had a chance to fly or play with toys outside. I have been thinking about making lighter wings for the He-162, but am not sure if it's a good idea. I wish I had a place nearby to fly it.

Meanwhile I designed this: https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/vari...ng-car-chassis
3D Printed Toyota MR2 - 3D printed Touring Car Chassis (2 min 13 sec)

3D printed Lancia Delta Integrale (1 min 17 sec)

I'll be printing mine in the near future, very very excited to do it, and I'll keep you posted on the progress. Thanks for the amazing design!

Then the L-39 and I'll be needing a new car and house after that!

Nice work on the cars, Lynxman!

Iím not so much into cars, but my son loves his Tamiya buggy.
I thought about printing your printable buggy design and make it a present for Christmas for him.
Iím just afraid, that I have to bombard you with questions when I build itÖ.

Tamiya buggies are great. They teach kids mechanical skills from building and painting them.

I took the He-162 down today to check that it's actually ready for flying if I get the chance to fly at the local air base (where I worked for 20 years). No video if htat happens, unfortunately. The plane is ready and balanced.

Beautiful! You did a great job again!

How did you do the painting on the wing tips? I mean this washout of the colors. It's actually much harder to do than a sharp edge.

I just sprayed them with no masking using a rattle can. Just swing the paint flow towards the wingtip and back.

Well done! I made it this way several times, too, but I never had a result that was this good.
Do you use different size spray heads/nozzles for the cans?
