I wonder how well that tilted outdrive works? It would appear that the prop swings downward as well as side-to-side when you steer. Does that push the bow down in turns under power? Guess well find out later.

Well the plastic is better for bashing compared to fiberglass which can crack upon hard impacts unless reinforced. The plastic can flex more without cracking.

I plan to drive this boat in a matter that I wouldn't even consider with my Veles or Voracity.

This^^

It is not in the same league as a fiberglass boat. This one is made more for throwing in and going and not worrying about going too crazy with it.

I do wonder how they justify a $300 price tag...I would be WAY more willing to buy at $200-250 or so, unless this was a RTR boat with lipo included.

Understood, but $300? This thing is in the under $200 class.

Looks like the price upon release will be $329 instead of $299.

I wonder what prompted a $30 price increase.

All right I'm for sure out. 299 was pushing it, over 300 is crazy.

If it went 45, OR was fiberglass, OR included the lipo, THEN is might be worth 330, but dang a 30 mph plastic boat for 330 is kind of crazy

I have to admit that $329 is a bit steep and I'm not sure if I'm still interested. I asked on their Facebook page what prompted a $30 increase but haven't received a reply.

For 100 bucks more I could get the UL-19 hydro.

It wont last long most likely, after poor sales they will discontinue it like they did the Stilleto 29 tunnel .

I would love to get this boat. Tunnel hulls are fun to run. It's too bad my HK650 ep was not very reliable, it did look nice though. Hopefully proboat won't let me down.

You could be the first if you wish. It's possible nobody has received theirs yet if they HAVE ordered one. I see no online reviews via Google, only announcements. A scan of Y-tube shows only 4 videos of it, none from private owners (3 from Horizon, 1 from RCNews).
