Just say no? Why?

Let me guess, the "fiberglass or it's not even worth looking at" mentality

I think this is cool and plan to get one. However I wonder what ESC it comes with. They say 30A but Rafael Lopez mentioned on Facebook it has a 60A.

I'd say that if it does have a 30A ESC, that is too small to run with 3S long term. Especially since there is a 3000kv motor in there. I remember when I ran my Blackjack 24 in stock form with the stock prop on 3S, the ESC got hot enough to burn my fingers and also made the double sided sticky tape come loose and that was with a 2000kv motor. This new motor will probably be even more amp hungry.

I will however upgrade the receiver upon arrival so I can pair it up with my new DX5C radio.

I know the feeling but there's always room for more boats!!!

You should see my place. It's an 1100 sq foot 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment and I've got boats, cars, planes, helis, and more model rockets than you can count and yet I can always find room for a cool new model.

And I'm also not single in case you're wondering. My fiancee puts up with it because she likes RC as well.

Yeah 30a will be bad. My BJ 24 runs very hot as well.

I hope for a 60a.

Nice looking boat, but I will have to see the reviews before I buy one. Might be awesome or could be a dud.

Your one of the lucky ones with a better half that likes or approves of rc goodies .

I wish they'd mention what SIZE motor they gave it. "4 Pole Marine Motor 3000Kv" really says little. Is it a little 2412 3000KV or a relatively huge 3650 3000KV? I'm going to assume "marine motor" means an inrunner with water jacket. Even a pic of it would be nice.

That spec is like me saying the car I'm selling has an engine with a 5000 RPM redline, but you don't know how big the engine is or how much power it has from that limited data.

And before I buy ANYTHING, I take a good look at what am buying and take note of details. Why no interior shots with hatch off, showing the works? I find that odd.

Pre-order? Nope. No mystery purchases for me. Doggy-Five needs more input!

You are doing better than some hobby shops I've visited...

There is a pic of it on Horizon's site.

It looks like a standard 3660 can. I plan to get the boat when it's available but I'll proceed with caution after getting caught up in the River Jet fiasco last year.
