On/Off Speed Controllers w/low voltage cut off???

Does anybody make a motor controller that serves only as an on/off switch and has a low voltage motor cut off? Basically I'd like to be able to start the motor, fly, then in the interest of protecting the batteries, have the device shut down the motor at a predetermined cut off voltage.

Any thoughts? HELP!!!

Every ESC is like that if you dont use partial throttle..

What are you trying to accomplish with a specific ON/OFF controller that a regular ESC cannot do?

It's actually for a non-r/c project. Electric Control Line to be exact. The ideal would be to simply fire the motor to start flying, and when voltage drops have an automatice way to shut the motor off. I was wondering if the cut off feature is available in a unit by itself.

Ive got something kinda of like that
Its simple a cut-off unit, by hitec.
no radio control though, just a switch... seeing as you're using it on a control line aircraft, that probably wont help unless you have a buddy flip the switch for you.... but it could be a remote possiblity.

I would think that the lack of thrust due to low voltage would just stop the plane's flight and it would land. So why not just have an on/off switch. It would be sort of like C/L models did when people used to use fuel for model airplanes.

well if the batts can take it that would be fine but if by the time it lost enough power to land the plane and chase after it the batts would probably be pretty hurt.
