I have the F405 in a Strix StratoSurfer and love it, but the $50 price tag and large size aren't optimal for smaller flying wings like the S800.

When I saw this one on Banggood I ordered it and when it actually came in I was surprised by how small it is. I am planning on replacing an Omnibus F4 Pro that I am running iNav on in my S800 and installing this FC with iNav 2.0.0RC4.

Thanks for creating that thread!

I am still trying to figure out if I even can get:
- vTx control
- GPS + Mag
- CrossFire (CRSF) with TLM

...the lack of blackbox support is something I think I can live without but I don't really want to sacrifice vTx control though that's what I would do.... it's kind of a great idea to be able to launch at 25mw and if needed jump higher so I don't swamp my friends that are already flying and with 25mW...

Unboxing // Matek F411 & F405 Wing FC // iNav (6 min 12 sec)

Edit: just found this... what a relieve

I plan to use the ST1 pad for smart port, on my S800 I don't currently have a SA capable.

F411 Wing target?

I got my new F411 Wing fc the other day.
Plugged it in earlier to flash firmware but couldn't find the F411 target in INav.
Anyone hazard a guess as to what I'm missing?

you gotta look for the F411, matek seams to not differentiate between fc styles but only stm chips with the that fc familiy

I am mounting this on Radjet 800. I was surprised it does not power the GPS from the USB. Looks like a great board - we will see how it will work.

Anyone know why the f 411 is cheaper than the f405?

Please check specification of both of them. Explains a lot.

Are you gonna "fpv" it ? Will you use 5V camera and vtx ? Or separate battery ?

Yes FPV. I think I will power the camera and the VTX from the main battery. Or maybe only the camera from the board.

I'm using mobile phone, so i'm limited. Otherwise could do a table, so you could compare it yourself.

EDIT: there you go

Just noticed: you could run both off VBAT. i had an impression, you could be limited to "5V only" camera and vtx. My mistake
