Looking for info on this design

I saved this photo but don’t know what post it came from. Im looking for wingspan, motor specs, weight, etc. Flying qualities. I’m looking for a slow flyer for indoors but outdoors as well. Possibly in the 30-45 inch wing span size.

Jupiter Duck?

I searched RCgroups pylon flying boat and I believe it’s a land version of the Jupiter Duck flying boat.
It’s a German design with free plans but I’m having trouble finding them.

Thanks Goldguy. Had no idea of the wheel version. Was about to go 200% Jupiter Duck but now I’ll have to compare the them side by side. I scratchbuilt a Chuck Cunningham Speed 400 “Pondside” a long time ago and the Jupiter Duck reminded me of how easy she flew off water.

My objective is to develop a minimal drag design that can rise off grass, dirt, floor or maybe water. I think it will be a 200% Jupiter Duck, a Shrimp, or a combination of both. I think a flow thru JD cabin but with a flapped and aileron KF Shrimp wing will be my experiment. Maybe 5 degrees of dihedral. Control will be a Spektrum Apprentice or AR636 receiver. Rudder and ailerons seperate or mixed. Majority of the wing trailing edge will be flapped for speed (0 camber) or camber for slow flight. For use as an introductary fixed wing land trainer.
Gyros off for aerobatics. Gyros on for wing leveling, heading hold, and pitch leveling during taxi takeoff, approach, and landing.

VicT,

The photos at the top of this thread are shots of my Jupiter Duck designed by Thomas B. I did enlarge his plans 132%, which brought the wing span to 33 1/2". It is powered by an Emax CF2822 motor with a cut down 10x4.7 slowfly prop (9 1/2") 3 cell 2200 lipo and flies like an absolute dream! It has flown about half of its' flights off grass and does so with complete ease and is always a big hit at my flying club, at the local lake. Always draws attention. Highly recomend this plane! Thomas B's planes are all winners!

Jupiter Duck 135% (2 min 52 sec)

Jupiter Duck 135% Maiden off the Water (5 min 11 sec)

I love this plane. My favorite most fun aqua flyer ever, and that's after building and flying many different designs over the decades. One amazing flyer, capable of mild to wild, even on the water.

Got the part for a Scout cut out, just need to clear the bench. Need a poke around pokey for the park.
