NAME - Hunebedden Havelte
DATE - 19 December 2004
AIRPLANE - MPX Easystar - modified
CAMERA - Pentax Optio S5i

This ´Hunebed´ dates from more than 5000 years ago. It is believed to be used as a burial chamber in which farmer families buried their diseased. This Hunebed in Havelte (The Netherlands) is the second largest in the country and is one of the oldest remains of early inhabitants of the area.

Windmill (and its shadow)

Name : 'Windmill (and its shadow)'
Location: Morcott, Rutland, UK
Plane : Slow Stick, AXI 2212/26 & 3S Lipo
Camera : Optio S4 with Prism
Date : 19 December 2004 @ 1.00pm

Got this photo on my second visit to the windmill, I had to leave it for a few hours to wait for the shadow to be cast onto the field. Its one of the few windmills in our area to still have its sails intact.

I figure even though its not a goodie I'll start entering in these fun contests. The sun is reflecting in the snow which is kinda neat...

Description: NMSU Aggie Stadium lights cast long shadows near sunset. Gassers sometimes fly from the gravel parking lot east of the field. I-25 is further east with the south end of the Organ mountains in the background. The big structure on the south end of the stadium is the new "Pressbox Facility". It was dead calm when I took this photo!
