EL-39 jet with 120 mm EDF

I maidened my big 3D printed jet with a 3D printed 120 mm impeller today. It went well, but I didn't explore its low speed properties because of the difficult crosswind. Next time I will.

It used a very long runway to take off. I know the main wheels were a bit tight so that makes for a lot of braking force when it gets up to speed. I have changed the axles and greased them now instead of going full ball bearing. It had a lot of power when it was airborne. Skip to 1:20 for a super high speed pass.

Length: 1858,5 mm
Wingspan: 1451 mm
Weight: 7,2 kg

Here's the maiden video:

No not at this moment. Scaling it down would take a lot of work unless the printer nozzle size is also changed.

I've thought more about scaling down. I think it can be done by printing narrower extrusion width, but it will probably cause issues that need to be solved along the way. Printing 0,2 mm wide seems to work fine even with a 0,4 nozzle.
