64mm brushless whoop, hbfpv hb64 review / flights

Ok I already have 3x 75mm brushless whoops but decided I wanted a smaller one for easier indoors flying more like the original whoop size and this seemed to fit the bill.
It's from hobbycool http://hobbycool.com?afmc=2j affiliate link to their site please use this link if you find any of my reviews useful as I get a small commission and no extra cost to yourselves. They do a lots of good RC and quad drone related stuff and are reasonably cheap and I've always had too service from them.
First a video to show how well it fly's , this was only one of my first flights with it and immediately I found it well tuned and easy to fly indoors( it even flies nicely outside in a little wind )

Hb64 first acro flight indoors flips 64mm brushless whoop from hobbycool (3 min 13 sec)

The quality of this model is really nice, it's quiet , powerful ( for a 1s ) , responsive and has taken multiple crashes in its stride with no damage.
It has betaflight 3.2 loaded and d shot commands so TURTLE MODE and motor beeps is available and works great.

Reciever.
No reciever but that means you can choose your own and I put in a frsky xm+ which I walk bought from hobbycool and was cheapest I've found it anywhere else.
This gives FULL range and is better than other quads with built in recievers.
There is plenty of room in the canopy for the reciever and I routed the antenna out through the slots in the side of canopy.

Battery
A 260mah HV 30c to 60c is supplied and gives 3 minutes flight times fairly aggressive flying which is ok, I will be buying more lipos soon as it's too much fun to have to wait 25 minutes for 3 minutes of flying.
No charger is supplied but I suggest using a 6 way 1s lipo charger and buying more batts!

Camera
Picture is nice and clear, has OSD, all the frequencies you can need are available so will work with any goggles using 5.8ghz.
Channel selection can be changed through a small hole in the canopy, this is better than my beta75 pro which need canopy to be removed and boldclash b06 which has a button on the top and often gets pressed by accident in a crash or just hitting the ceiling lol.
Antenna is vertical and so reception is better than my other whoops where it is horizontal, it sticks out to the top of the canopy only a very small amount and doesn't look like it will be easily brocken.

Frame
Plastic frame is different from others in that it is NOT a one piece frame, ducts are screwed to a middle frame with 3 screws in each duct,
Not sure if this is a good or bad thing, it's so light I think it wont break easily anyway, if spare parts were available it would be easier to change one duct than it would be to change the whole frame over..

FC and ESC
ESC is a 4in1 teeny pro and motor wires are soldered to baord rather than the trend of putting motor wires on plugs,
Makes for a secure stable connection but also means soldering is required to replace a motor.
FC is an F3 with osd , betaflight 3.2 and like I said the all important turtle mode is there and works.

Motors/props
0603 16000kv motors hbfpv branded and 31mm props run smoothly and quielty,
Wires are soft silicon and soldered to motor and esc so if one breaks it can be replaced easily.
A spare set of props is included along with a prop removal tool.

Flying
Very nice flyer, stable and fast, well tuned out of the box, I upped the rates to 1.9 because I like more response but I left all pids and filters alone.
Flips and rolls are easily achieved ( with practice ),
Didn't suffer from any prop wash at low level.
Outside it copes with some wind ( probably ok up to around 7 to 10mph ) when doing big loops it did struggle to recover sometimes like all the other whoops, but if I timed the loops and got on the power early maintaing forward speed it was fine, this is just a thing with whoops that they all seem to do..possibly just my flying needs some polishing lol!

Pros.
Fast
Small
Quiet
Tough
Full range Rx can be used
Vertical antenna and vtx button protected
Quality parts.

Cons.
Frame screwed together rather than one peice ( may be cause for concern but so far hasn't brocken and seems strong enough for such a small light quad. )

Some pictures of the quad and Rx installation.

Some comparison pictures to show sizes weights compared to other whoops.

As you can see this is smaller and lighter than even a brushed boldclash b03 , with more power makes it excellent all rounder whoop.
