lemon 0052 telemetry receiver with DX6G3 radios specifically

as lemon has released a new receiver with telemetry (0052) that is compatible with radios on DSM2 and DSMX, am starting a thread to discuss the operation of this receiver with the DX6G3 radio specifically.
all comments polite, positive are welcome.

how it started

telemetry at its best
1st time at the field testing the lemon 0052 receiver with telemetry in a 2 meters electric glider.
am using it with the DX6G3 from horizon, and is compatible to the series of radios with any DSMX or DSM2 compatible transmitter technology.
the idea is to see how well it behaves with telemetry so i programmed it to tell me everything.
the result was an almost non-stop flow of data that made my head spin, but that was what i wanted to hear.
now i will arrange it so the data will come at intervals and gives me time to analyze what is going on.
the precision on data like altitude is fantastic. just by raising the plane from chest level to head feels it and tells it to you.
am new to the radio, so still i have to learn the details, but it is swell to hear that little sweet voice that makes you feel as if you were at the space ship from stat trek or something like that.
anyway, it is an overwhelming experience to have access to so much vital information without the need to take away your eyes from the plane.
but i need to put myself together and begin to work on each of the features.
for this, i will need help from you guys who know better (way better) than me these radios and receivers.
amazing technology (radios and receivers that match them).
see ya later...

the receiver

the receiver behaves perfect, according to my tests.
now i need to learn how to program the radio.
problem is, i cant get it to tell me what i need, and at the forum where these great receivers are discussed, there is a character that is telling me not to post there for questions regarding the radio. so here i am, with a great receiver for my needs, but still in need to learn how to program the radio.
i wish lemon some day releases its own so there we can get all the necessary information to use it at its best.

Phil,

I mentioned that the Spektrum radio thread is the best place to get answers to your transmitter questions. The Lemon receiver is not, pretty simple really. Sorry if you were offended.....the Spektrum transmitter thread is a great resource for programming questions and also have many that can answer your transmitter related questions.

am not offended. it is that as they are used together, and as many ask questions of other products that are related, i considered that it should not be a problem. and it was not only you. it was Andy. and when i got at the thread, he is again just telling me that he answered everything at the other thread and not to ask anything here but to search. i will, but still i think it would be better if there is an index. anyway, as i said, the receiver works great. i just wish i can learn what it takes to use the radio with the receiver.
and, as you can see at the instructions, it is closely related and has many details and explanations on its use with the DX6G3.

what really matters...

what really matters is that the 0052 performs perfect. no glitches, nothing.

of course, we need more testimonies to confirm this, but, from my experience with all the products that i have purchased from them, this will be another remarkable product.
with the advent of good weather, i have been using it repeatedly, and the only difficulty i have experienced is in learning how to program the radio, that has nothing to do with the performance of the receiver.

lemon quality, cost and service

all started when i found this thread when searching:
https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show...ible-Receivers

i was using horizon $60 receivers but from then i have been a lemon advocate. i own-and use-a large number of the several kinds.
1st the basic, then the stabilizer, then the plus, and now the telemetry. all perform perfect. cheap, fast shipping, great customer service...
what else can i say?

programming DX6G3

regarding my problems programming the radio, there is a thread where the guy explains it:
https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show...ips-and-Tricks
in few words, he says that:
" DX6 Manual is very basic.
I feel Spektrum's manual for the DX6/DX9 is way too basic. It's almost like a "quick start guide" - only one with like 50 pages. While all the features are explained, I feel that telling people how they work is not enough. Many times throughout the book I kept asking myself, "why this?" or "why that?" Given this is an entry level computer radio, I feel I would like more information on why I would want to use a given feature, not simply have the feature explained.
Scenarios
Another good idea would be scenarios. Say for example, the manual could explain various scenarios where a certain feature could come in handy. Yes, they do here and there, but the problem is that for many of the features, they just assume you know and simply tell you how to do it, rather than also why. "

my point precisely.
why then we have manuals like this https://app.box.com/s/cb3b695b7552a051d351 for this radio, that explains everything and shows step by step with the picture of the screen so we can do whatever without problems and these wonderful radios that do everything dont show anything and leaves out on a limb?

That's the difference between a product manual and a How To guide.

DX6G3 low volts alarm

with fully charged eneloops at 5.3v, and alarm set at 4.3v, took me 45 minutes to get low transmitter battery alarm.

with alarm set to 4.3v, from the moment the alarm voice starts, took me 9 minutes for the radio to stop working.

1-this means that the radio battery has to be replaced for 1 fully charged in no more than 45 minutes.
2-and when getting the low v alarm, there are no more than 9 minutes to land.

>>>please read this:am learning that, as i was using the charger that comes with the tactic radio, is a simple 1 that does not charge the batteries fully so am now using an accucel 6 that can be programmed to 1.1v to 6.0v. with this, the radio can be used to a full day without discharging. https://hobbyking.com/en_us/turnigy-...B&gclsrc=aw.ds
