It got a little too flat. Will dirty it up and it should be ok. It's only a stand off scale plane and I'm not trying to go scale with it. Just having fun.

Maybe, but it still looks better than it did before. Looks more like paint now rather than a plastic covering. Good luck with the test flights!

So.... In the Hangar 9 video, I saw a plane with some yellow trim. I don't suppose you know if they are planning on offering that color scheme as well? I actually prefer that to the currently offered scheme.

The Hellcat we have is the current production one. The one you see in the video was a Preproduction version where they were just trying different ideas.

This being a sport plane it would not be hard to customize it how you would like. Thatís the fun with modeling.

When I get one, I will definitely be doing some covering changes. Now if they’d make a Wildcat of similar size, with working retracts!!

Arrowhead
I’ve been daring them to make a Wildcat for years! So far they haven’t taken up the challenge.

I’m kinda tempted to get this, and paint or recover as an RN Gannet.

Nice job Crash !
Mike why would you want plastic wells ?
5 mins of light weight Balsa wells and you tie the skin into the wing and add real stretch vs floating wells that only add weight
.

They do come with a set of nice covers. But we prefer the look of them open. Again just a preference.
