The production pics are really cool.

Does the plane have one 18 AMP ESC or 4?

I'm assuming the specs mean 18 amp ESC x4?

4 ESC @ 18amp. From memory the motors are drawing 12amps at WOT

Ian, thanks for posting the pictures.

Hopefully it will make the natives a little less restless and less inclined to start looking for torches and weapons....

Looks great! Now we have confirmation that they truly are in production - just need some firm dates! Tell the factory to ship those suckers!

Ditto.
I would never buy the first of any design. Take the Grand Tundra fir Eg, problems with the ESC, plenty of owners now waiting a looooong time for HK to get their act together & replace problem ESC's, I'll wait, no hurry anyway as its .......soon

I have heard that Avios electronics are sub par and have a higher failure rate. How much truth is in this rumor ?

I thought it (the Grand Tundra, that is..) had the Aerostar 60A reversible in it... That's what I put in my normal Tundra for 4S. Haven't flown it all that much since upgrading, but so far so good.. ???

18A ESCs reversible / that sounds like it will be fun landing and switching to reverse... for braking.
