1800mm, scale Fowler flaps, cargo door, retracts with sequenced gear doors, lights, 2 color schemes with a buttload of livery options. If it flies good it'll be a winner.

I'm in! Been waiting for a nice C-130 so that I can model it after the EC-130H Compass Call that I was a crew member on back in 89-91. I flew on them both at Davis-Monthan in Tucson and at Sembach Air Base in Germany. I'll be doing one with the Sembach fin flash.

Stoked on this one, high wing and long fuse should make for a good flyer.

Also pleased she comes in grey as well, hope they leave the decals off so
we can go our own way scheme wise. Be easy to add a section and do the
stretched version as well. Now we need a release some time soon!

That's a "J" model. I'm pretty sure HK are modeling the "H". The RAAF didn't have any stretched H models.

They said that the grey one comes with a bunch of different livery options for different national air forces, so it appears that it'll come with the decals off.

Correct, but all you'd need to do is paint the de ice boot on the tail, the model doesn't look like it has the HF antenna masts, so it could pass as a J in flight. AC packs and APU blister are the same. 3D print some 6 bladers for static if you wish. As for RAF, Pete is more than adept enough to paint one in the UK green scheme! Though being an Aussie, no doubt he will do a 36/37Sqn bird. If it comes as a single all over grey then the undersides will need to be done light grey, but otherwise, well the damn thing is just sweet!!!

Hey Pete, how about the three tone Cam that our Hs had before the two tone grey started in 07?

Anyone for a AC-130 Spectre/Spooky variant?

Yeah I'm thinking an AC-130 conversion is going to be necessary.

Would be tempted to scratch up a section to extend her to a J model,
as you said schuey not much difference, but the lizard camo H model
of your pic would be tempting as well.

Have to first get past the boss lady to see if I'm allowed another plane,
on that issue anyone have an idea of how much they are going to cost?

Here's the RAAF line up, C130 A,E,H, and J.
