1/10 Baseltek NXC 4WD Rock Crawler RTR...any good?
Anybody know anything about this? I'm assuming it's a rebrand/clone of something else...if so, what??
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Baseltek-NX....c100043.m2062 $85 for a RTR 1/10 crawler seems really cheap. Amazon has them and it gets poor reviews, largely due to the fact people say the power system isn't suited to a crawler (not slow starts/stops and jerky). A $20 GoolRC set up would fix that. Not sure about parts either...if it's a rebrand parts may be easier to get. Maybe a RedCat? I am tempted to get one for a FPV crawler set up. Any comments welcome! ![]() ![]() |

Ah that's it! It's a rebranded HSP. I knew I had seen it somewhere.
I might pick one up next time eBay has a coupon code sale ![]() |

Hey,
I have the same !! It's good for run on the rocks in a trial run. My, need a rear servo, but I've an emeteur with speed selector(low, medium & hight) |

at that price, how could you go wrong? the drive line angle seems a bit steep but the esc and receiver are separate allowing individual upgrades.

I know right! 85 bucks for a 1/10 RTR Crawler seems almost too good to be true. I might just have to order one |

I got one of these and I read it is an ax10 clone. Most parts should be compatible with axial parts. The esc on mines is instant reverse and 100% drag brake, so it takes some getting use to. With some practice, low speed control isn't too hard. The issues with this truck is that it has noticeable torque twist, high cg, and the body doesn't clear the tires. At max articulation the body will dig almost two inches into the tire. Receiver is also flysky protocol and worked with my gt-3b

axial doesn't look like one, but if that's true it's good to know mainly for the driveline since I would convert to mt i'd drop a 4 pole 550 motor in there for torque/speed
