FS: Damaged Alfa P-51 "Marie"

I just bought this kit brand new. Assembled it then maidened it Saturday morning. First launch resulted in a nose crash. Bummer. Only damage in the nose area (see pics). Anyway, since I didn't get to really fly it, I plan on getting a new one instead of repairing this one (it's like buying a new car... image if you damaged it driving off the dealer's lot. You'd want a new one )

Anyway, $30. Local pickup only.

BTW, the battery cover is missing (it's still somewhere out on the field).

e-mail or PM me if interested.

HK,

If you want to ship it, I'll take it.

Steve,

Thanks for the offer, but I don't want to hassle with shipping it.

HK,

Bummer mate. I recently launched my P47 which is/was my first Alfa, lots of flights on her. I forgot to change the memory in my JR 10 SX transmitter for the P47, so, reversed ailerons. Up and over and straight down trying to correct...... . Very fixable, but I, like you, rather just get another...good luck mate...

Mal,

Fortunately, I've never yet crashed a new car off the lot.

I was using the MPJet red outrunner. You can see it sitting next to the P-51 in the top pic. I've used this motor twice in two different Alfas. Both times I've nosed it in. The first time was from about 50ft. I thought the motor would have a bent shaft or something, but it's still good. Tuff little motor.

Sorry. The kit is sold. However, if you only need a wing, you should contact Hobby-lobby. They will sell you individual parts. You'll have to pay a premium but it should still be less than paying for a whole new kit.

JG,

This hobby is strange... At first I crashed a lot because I didn't know how to fly. 1 year later, I still crash a lot but not because I don't know how to fly...
