Inspire 1 Servo repair

After a long time troubleshooting i came across a YT video that describes my exact problem:

DJI Inspire One Faulty Frame Assembly Drive Motor (4 min 41 sec)

is it really required to tear down the whole drone to fix this problem ? Or can i just do this described by someone else:

By simply removing the VPS and lower airframe then the 3 screws that hold the bearing for the worm gear and just unscrewed the worm gear out the bottom, then removed the yolk. (Thus i'm hoping i would have a straight shot with a screwdriver at the servo bolts to unscrew it ?)

1. The question is will it be impossible to unscrew the 4 servo screws as i've heard some horror stories that they are superglued in tight ?
2. Can it be done without taking out the midsection entirely (ie the method i just described above these 2 questions.)

I was charge a ludricous amount of money to fix this problem and was told they won't sell the part alone without fixing it, heck i could buy a used phantom for the price they ask to fix this problem.
