Grading Unlimited Donated the use of the roller to the club! Thanks so very much!
The roller worked great, very smooth result. The runway needs to be super clean before the new stuff.
If you get out flying in the next couple weeks, please pick up any loose rocks or plane parts you might find out there.

Well ...nearly there!

It's not supposed to rain 'till tomorrow afternoon (30% chance before noon, then 95%) so the plan is to do some final touch-up, finish paint/sealing and maybe some additional stapling in small areas in the morning. So , Any help is still appreciated by Scott, our fearless and diligent Pres. per our latest conversation at 2:30 this afternoon.

All of us are hoping Chris is recovering well after his new fuel line re-size-reinforcement.

Field should be open as planned for full duty Saturday as planned

Here are a few pics. I'm trying to upload a short video clip too but will take some more time to process.

Many thanks to the volunteer crew. Hope to see you back to your old self soon Chris.

Here's the video...

I was out today and talked to Scott while he was putting "finishing staples" in some of the edges. The new surface has layed down very smooth. This is a BIG improvement over the good old runway we've been used to all these years.

Can't wait to fly off this... Tuesday looks good.
