Ultra Power UP610 200W 10A DC Lipo Battery Charger

!Big Power on a Budget

I'm always on the lookout for new chargers. I'm not sure what it is, I have a lot of chargers and they all work great. There's just something about a cool looking charger with a nice screen that calls to me. The UP610 Ultra Power charger does just that and the best part is that it only costs $39.

This is a low cost single charger, but it has a nice looking large screen on the front and a scroll wheel button for making parameter selections. The display shows all the info you'd want like the cell count and operating mode, total voltage, charge rate, mAH put in, charge time and individual cell voltages. On the right side of the charger is an XT60 connector and the balance port for connecting your batteries. On the other side you have another XT60 for input power and a USB connector for firmware updates on your PC. The input voltage range accepts a large 9-32V meaning you can connect a DC power supply in that range or use a 3-6S lipo battery to power it. I can't see a single thing I don't like about it, assuming it does a good job at charging and balancing and it's one heck of a price for a 10A 200W charger.

!!Specifications:

  • Input voltage: DC 9-32 V
  • Output voltage: DC 0.1-30V
  • Charge power: Max. 200W

That's my youtube video review above. I now have three of them. No regrets.

www.Racedayquads.com and www.readymaderc.com have them. Direct links in youtube vid description.

I got mine from readymaderc because they were first to have it. I like race day quads a lot too and tend to order more from them. Both are great, so just go with whoever is cheaper or has other things you may want as well.

I bought that charger, hooked it up to the same 15ah 24volts powersource checked the voltage on 2 3s 2200mh batteries, connected the 608isd charger to the other battery id charges 4 minutes faster even it has only 150 watts, also with a amp meter isd shows on screen 2,2 amps charging, the 200watt charger shows on screen 2,2amps but the meter says otherwise 1,5amps!I will repeat this test swapping batteries to make sure it's correct, otherwise this charger would be a misleading advertisement!(200watt)

Got 2 isd 150 watt chargers, both perform almost equaly, checked them both against the ultra power ,sorry guys,I think the ultra power is 40% overrated, that's my opinion! The ultra power is a good charger no doubt but the manufacturer should state the true rating!By the way,I bought the charger locally for 69.50 bucks??$39.+ shipping online??Makes me feel good to support my local dealer, grrrrrh!

Yep, a re-branded SC608. The display screens were tweaked a bit (things moved around, fonts changed, etc.) but the info and control look identical. Also the XT-60s and balance tap were moved around - I like their locations better on this charger though.

Good to see the SC608 is still alive - it's a great little charger.

NOT cool if its only 150W but advertised as 200W
