If I start a fresh model with standard programming, the ailerons center like they should. But if I start a new model with the SoarOTX F5J program, the ailerons immediately go to about 20% off of center down on both sides. |

Oops, I was in the F3K program - my bad!
Go to the Configuration menu pt. 3 Adjust airbrake curves. Here, you use the throttle to move between the five curve points, and elevator trim to adjust the aileron position at each point. Jesper P.S. you may also want to zero out throttle trim (camber preset) in all the flight modes. You set flight mode with switch B. |

Of course, now something else is going on. When I go into motor mode, the ailerons reflex slightly during the motor run that I can't dial out. The really weird part is that when it exits motor mode into speed mode, the ailerons reflex up even more until I raise and lower the airbrakes slider. The camber modes, speed, cruise and float seem to work normally. I am able to adjust the camber for these modes using the throttle trim. Also seems like I can't get the spoilerons to reflex much past about 50% of aileron travel. not sure I'd need much more than that, though. Never flown with spoilers. |

That's because you still have camber. Camber is reduced to zero at full throttle. It also disables flaps when the motor is on. If you share your .OTX then I can fix it for you.

Try swapping the aileron channels, that should make the ailerons go down instead of up, when you apply throttle trim. Jesper |

Am I just asking too much? Also, where are you making these changes? I would like to learn more about how this program works so I can fix and modify it on my own. Thanks for all the help, BTW. |

Quick question, menu 4, adjusting aileron throw, it reduces the amount the trim that will move the surface too, so I'm only getting tiny amounts of trim.
I have to go into inputs and change the weight to reduce my throw, that way it doesn't do anything to the trim either. Is tis normal? |

No, sorry. Due to the way they have implemented Lua "widgets" on Horus, I am not able to support it.
You can read more about that here: https://github.com/opentx/opentx/issues/3821 Jesper |
