Smallest flying wing?

What is the smallest flying wing out there? Ths PAF has a wingspan of 30" Is there anything smaller. I'm looking to fly in a backyard. My zagi 400 is too big for the backyard. I was just looking at the wedgie because it turns tight but I think it is FAST. Can it fly slow? Any suggestions for my next plane would be great

Small you want?

How bout expensive?

I think 40,000$ is not enough to buy one of the .020 powered ones.

OK it,s slime but still.

Go here. http://www.simiair.com/

Someone had converted these to RC at DEAF. Flew great even in the wind. I think he had 2 N20 motors on it with elevons.

Birdworks

Primarily known, I suppose, for the Tilde, you might want to take a look at http://www.harborside.com/~birdworks/bhome.htm. Birdworks does offer some other GWS power type small electrics, most notably the Bud.

Worth consideration.

At 16" the future Chip would probably be the smallest.

24" wing glider

Just thought I would throw this in. Here's a picture of my 24" wing I cut out of blue foam. I used a modified MH45 airfoil. The root is 7.5 inches and the tip is 4 inches. It's extremly aerobatic and can spin like a drill. Launches about 80-100 feet up. I'm sure it would do great with a GWS power system but never got around to putting one on as it is so much fun already. All up weight is 3 oz.

If you can't find a wing you could always make your own. Its very easy and I'm sure someone could help you if you needed it. From cutting to finish it took about two hours to build the 24".

Here's a pic with the 24" next to my 42" glider I also designed.

May I suggest the IFO by Wild RC, http://www.flyifo.com/

Its a great backyard flyer and almost handles like a zagi.

Where to get GWS motor?

Well, now I want to build another 24" wing. Does anyone know where I can get the GWS motor/gearbox? Which one would work best, the "A" version? Also, what batteries would work well with this wing/power combo?

I'm not into the smaller GWS stuff but www.eam.net has som interesting small geardrives under the slow fly parts section.

If there is something you need that is not on the website call them their store has alot of things in stock that have not made it to the website.
