They've also got a video up on youtube about the Tori 2.0 EP, which appears to be a Fling 2m in EP form with ailerons added.

Those specs for the Vista Grande are pretty aggressive, that's a hotter power system than 2.9m 76oz Mystique uses.

The specs look odd, 616 sq in area is actually 62 sq in less than the 2m Vista. The wing loading is insane as well, but it matches the wing area listed. I'd bet that is supposed to be 916 sq in (which would be sane for the planform in the picture at 100" span) and give a 9.4 oz per sq foot wing loading (still porky, but in the right range).

I saw that video of the Tori. Looks interesting to me, can't wait to find out more about it.

The Vista Grande looks great. Stinks to wait 2mo for it, hopefully Horizon doesn't kill the plane.

The Tori looks good. Except the 1/4" trailing edges.

I don't have the true specs in front of me, but I would bet everything I had the area and loading are mistakes. It's a real floater,.. just as you would expect from an enlarged vista. The wing is a bit different as the center is flat so a single piece spoiler could be added (which is very effective by the way). However, It is still "sporty" like the vista BL. Not really the way it's intended to fly but it will do all the aerobatics, including rolling circles. I have not flown the Tori, so I can't comment on it.

Is their any unexpected weirdness due
to having the spoiler in front of the elevator?

Having a spoiler in the center section like that isn't unusual. It should be fine but might require some trim changes.

Flies like Vista BL, just larger and can be more floaty.

Webpage will be corrected, not sure how quickly. Wing area is 1044 sqin (67.3dm2)
Wing loading 8.4~9.3 oz/ft2

What I remember from flying it (was many months ago) is that it did need some elevator input with spoiler. I'd just put a mix in it . No weirdness, elevator works just fine with spoiler deflected,.. it just changes trim of course.

Assuming it weighs 4lbs rtf implies a wing cube loading of 3.3....very nice and floaty. Just may order one.

I ordered one. $169 shipped seems like a steal - at least low enough to check it out.

I hope this doesn't mean a 1 piece 100" wing

Found some pics... it looks to be 3 piece, that's much better!
