Looks like the zip file was corrupted on the upload.

I've re-posted the file (and downloaded it to check).

It should be OK now.

Thanks for letting me know.

Robert,

The Zero looks good. I'm always surprised how realistic they can be with just a small amount of detail added.

Peter.

Hey Peter,
I just downloaded your plans for the Red Baron and will try to build one. Thanks and would like to know what kind of enjun can be used in this plane?
I have GWS eps 350 on hand. Is that too big? Also eps 300 with 6 to 1 gearing?

Thanks Olddog

Has anyone built the baby baron with a brushed motor yet? If so what did you use and how did it work?

Motocalc seems to think an IPS with a #1 gear (4.14:1) would be correct one.

Peter or anyone else who's built the indoor baron. Where is your C.G.?

G'Day Ken,
44 mm back from leading edge of middle wing should be a reasonable starting point.

Thanks Peter.

Emailed you an update rough draft of a build manual for the Little Baron today to look over. Think that's about where I set my C.G. but wanted to see what others had experienced so I get it in manual correctly.

Flew with brushed motor this weekend -Was getting dark so couldn't fly long but the IPS 'S1' with a 8060 slofly prop seems to work fine and gives enough prop clearance for ROG. Brushless is of course much better for 3D acrobatics.

G'Day Ken,
the Baron looks good. Its pleasing to hear it goes OK with a brushed setup.

I'm guessing it will be very respectable with the IPSD setup also.

I'm keen to hear if any one has tried the AXI 2804/54 or the new Hyperion outrunners 2205/xx series.

First one I built has a LensRC 17turn cd-rom motor on it. Very good performer.

A construction manual for this plane is now available for download at www.digitalmillwork.com.

The Little Baron kit will make it's debut at the mid-america fun fly this weekend in Kansas City.
