Replaced motor with a Hacker1

The previous motor was on its last legs and finally gave up the ghost.

Baby Baron Plans

I tried unsuccessfully to get hold of the plans in theoriginal links. Someone else was able to email the plans to me. The original links are all dead. Its a brilliant foamie and fairly buzzes round with the hacker motor. Plans are found below togethr with the manual. I ended up strengthening the middle wing with balsa, the ailerons with fiberglass tissue and carbon tow on the top and bottom wing.

Fokker and Sopwith triplanes

Couldn't thank pmjass enough for the excellent design. It's very easy to build, very easy to fix, looks very good and most of all, very easy to fly. I built the outdoor version early this year and have enjoyed every flight I've had with it. It does get tossed around on windy days but the addition of a cheap stabilizer board helped a great deal. The indoor version was modified a bit. Having too many German planes, I decided to go for the Sopwith triplane look

Wow, they look great.

While I'm not getting rich selling plans I certainly get a great buzz from seeing others build and fly some of my designs.

I noticed you mentioned a stabiliser board helps in the wind, which one are you using?

Thanks! I'm using a HobbyKing i86 multi-rotor control board. Before it I didn't dare fly the plane above 8 mph winds. Here's a clip of the triplane with 15 mph winds, though I did try it with up to 25 mph and it was still very controllable
