Someone posted that they have flown their EL-39 now in the comments on Cults. Always nice to hear about successful maidens. https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/vari...for-120-mm-edf

Great to hear.

I ordered the suspension equipment last week and finished printing Fuselage07, Ailerons, Nosegear01-07, and Nose02. Canopy01 had a lot of warping and printing issues, so I might need to print with 0.4mm nozzle settings instead of 0.3m on canopy parts.

Mine should be ready to fly in about 2 weeks. I've got all the parts except fasteners. Wanted to go through and determine all the different lengths needed but maybe I'll just suck it up and buy a couple assortment sets.

Maybe you need to print the canopy in clear PLA as it has no internal structure to prevent warping.

I was planning on vacuum forming the canopy since I already have a vacuum forming box. Otherwise yea clear PLA will be my second option if I have trouble.

I have just one question regarding Vstab. I see small diferent in height in Vstab01 and Vstab02, see pictures. Is that OK or print went wrong?

I downloaded Vstab01 and 02 and they match, so you probably accidentally resized one of them, or lowered01 into the bed in the slicer.

You can check this yourself by opening both in the slicer.

Yes, in the slicer looks the same. I will try to print Vstab01 again because I reprint Vstab02 and both are the same. Thank you anyway for your respond.

Making more progress. For printing on a Prusa MK2S, it looks like all tall parts can be sliced into 2 shorter pieces, and large fuselage pieces sliced down the center into 2 halves. I have not yet needed to turn a single part into 4 segments.

empty your pockets
check closure of locks

At the picture the last letter of "Внимание" is written as capital but the rest (especially "а") is lower case?

Sorry to say that, but this message has 3 errors: the right one would be:

I took it from this drawing - and it is obviously different from the real one :

I maidened my EL-39 on Friday! It flew very nicely and the printed fan held up well. I did manage to crack the nosegear mount despite a pretty smooth landing, so I'll probably draw up some parts on my own to add extra structure to this area.

I flew without the landing gear doors and graphics for the maiden, but will be adding those shortly

Thanks! It'll look like this when finished. Wanted something I mostly light-colored to resist heat issues a bit, and I don't like painting.
