Hilmar Lange and Lutz Näkel developed the idea of building biplane racers with a wingspan of 60cm. Hilmar chose the Howard Speed Beercat, Lutz built the Hot Canary and I made a Mongster. The project is in development. I hope we manage to meet and race this year.

I think you are right about the performance.
The Mongster will be the front-runner in the racing.

I just found this great page from Aeromodeller 1970. My father stored it in his Air Racer book that he gave me some years ago. And I thought it was an autonomous decision when I chose the Mongster......

Now my Mongster has markings, spinner and wheel pants. I like it.

Thomas , the Mongster looks real nice, but........ how does it handle the wind! One word: EASILY!

Nice flying, in those turbulent conditions.

Cant wait to see Lutzs' Hot Canary fly.
