Coverage and Precision

Wingtra was founded in 2016 as a Swiss company with roots in robotic research. They've developed the Wingtra One, which is a VTOL drone for aerial survey and mapping. It can carry various cameras with a quick swap mounting system. Wingtra's claim to fame is it can be precise and easy to control like a multirotor drone, but can also cover a large area like a fixed wing aircraft. It brings the best of both platforms to the commercial market. Think of it like a grown up E-flite X-Vert that is designed to get work done. Max flight time is listed at just under an hour and that should be great for most operations in a single flight. The Wingtra One sounds like a great drone for those looking to get into the aerial mapping world.

If you want a VTOL, should've looked in the VTOLs forum, loads of them, including conversions of ARF fixed wing models --- https://www.rcgroups.com/vtols-360/

That is very true, but I tried reading up on
APM flightcontroller for VTOL on a XUAV miniTalon....
Its just to difficult to understand for me...
After reading it, I swear to you that I could
fly the Space Shuttle via flight manual.
(It sucked that bad reading that mumbo-jumbo).
APM & ArduPilot is not for me

1.8kg of batteries : https://www.rdomarketplace.com/wingt...ght-batteries/

2 batteries needed ... May be they use them in 8S. Could not lift well in 4S with wind ! It's a lot of power 2x4S 7500mAh for 55 min flight time @16m/s
