Sopwith pup from plans

I was looking for a nice subject for a recently purchased Gasparin G10.
I found a detailed set of plans for a 13 in pup on outerzone.
Fearing the it might be a bit much for this little motor. I re sized for a 10.25 Span (255 mm)

Looks real NICE! Looking forward to your continuing progress.

I'm not familiar with power output of that motor, but just have to comment about modeler's constant need/perception that " more power" is always better!

ribs

Thanks George Heres more:

In an effort to "keepitlight" and maintain that scale look (rib, sub rib count) i created some 1/64 thick stock and form the rib with that.
First I made a pair of plywood templates then stacked the thinned balsa between them & sanded to shape

packard,
I agree !, however
More power is not an option since I started with the motor ( the pup was sized for the engine, not the other way around.)

A labor of love in the making. And by the looks of your work so far you love to build. I foresee a great thread to watch and create inspiration in the rest of us.

It's like a little jewel.

I recall having some fun trimming Pnut scale models. I'm not sure I'd have the patience for a 10" span biplane. I hope you're more patient than I can be....
