Could we get a "mini" (not micro) foamies forum?
I find it hard getting good info on what's out there, or not, in the mini range.
The more I fly and build the more I am focused on minis, around the 20-24 inch wingspan range, at 2S lipo. The micros and macros (30 inch and over) have limitations, indoor and large field hard to find. That's the sweet spot for flying local fields, it's too hard to find large expanses to fly in my area. Anyone else agree please chime in, thanks! |

There's already a subforum for "Parkflyers", which I think is as close as anyone can reasonably get, short of a subforum for "20-24 Inch Two Cell Airplanes".
Of course the aforementioned "Parkflyer" subforum is a stagnant waste of space because everybody discusses their parkflyers in other areas anyway, such as Foamie Kits, Scratchbuilt Foamies, Electric Plane Talk, 3D Foamies, Beginner Training Area, and, of course, Micro Ready-To-Fly. You don't exactly have to walk very far to travel between these existing headings. Given the vast array of presently available subforum choices, a "Mini Foamies" forum would only serve to further reduce cohesion and make the site a bigger, more cluttered, more redundant mess than it already is. |
