Cellpro 10s Over Voltage

I have a Cellpro 10s which a friend borrowed and mistakenly hooked up to a power supply set at 19v. It just died as in the screen was lighted but no read out. I was assuming that an error message would have appeared first that power supply is >16v but my friend said no warning came out. Given this, I would like to ask if my charger can still be repaired. If yes, can it be done on a DIY basis or has to be sent to an FMA shop. TIA.

It's probably not cost effective to return that unit for repair. By the time you pay shipping to and from the Phillipines plus the repair charge you would be better off to purchase a new charger. When a unit is over voltaged as you describe, it may not be repairable anyway and we wouldn't know until we evaluated the charger.

I guess you are right unless someone here knows how to tinker and repair it. Thanks for your immediate response to my query Jamie.
