Does this kit have provisions for wheels? Removable or whatever?

Yes it says it is made for gear but she will never see such a travesty! .lol. She will only ever touch water. Looks kinda rediculous with wheels imho.

Well... seeing as though I'm smack dab in the middle of Texas, chances to fly off water will be 50/50 at best so if I was to build one without removable wheels, it'd be a hanger queen and I just don't have the room for those right now.

agreed! if i lived far from water i wouldn't bother building this. unless there was a good chance of flying off snow which i also love.

I was concerned about prop clearance. Just overlaid my spinner and prop combination. 4 blade. Power 46 e -flight. Iíve got about a half inch clearance. Thank goodness it fits iím hoping this gives me lots of thrust to pull her off the water. Obviously not concerned about Top-speed with this particular plane. Itís going to look gorgeous thatís for sure i have read that chines on the front sides of the hull help keep spray to a minimum. apparently its a issue getting the motor area wet. im going to soak all electronics in corrosion x as a preventative. its great stuff. some good info and videos of electronics working underwater after being coated in the stuff. pretty cool.

Getting the popcorn ready, will be following this build. Never even seen one in real life but I've always liked it seeing it at the SIG site.

Thanks. Yes Iím looking forward to including a balsa build of my own making in my hanger for water duties. I love my foamie float plane but itís just not the same as when you build it yourself. I donít think I have ever seen an e powered. Sealane should be a fun adventure tail feathers prior to sanding

I'm really interested in this. I fly a foamy Icon A5 at our lake house, but I'd rather have a better flying plane and I prefer to build my own. Are you building this one stock or bashing it a little like your hog pipe?
