If so, what would it take?

They'd have to switch to the independent or Libertarian party.
If the Dem believed what I did they would kick him/her out of the party anyway.

I certainly couldn't ever vote for the Pelosi, Hillary or Harry Reid types.......... Or the Bernie-meister.

I used to try to figure out what candidates stood for... Now just the fact that they belong to the Democratic Party is enough. That kills my desire to know anything more about them. I consider the Democratic Party to be the most corrupt organization on Earth.

Sadly, the Republican Party isn't far behind... but would be far better off without a bunch of old RINOs.

Until we get some real changes, like a complete ban on lobbyists, line-item veto, and term limits, we'll have no change. Career politicians will elevate themselves for the purpose of enriching themselves, and you and I will catch a crumb once in a while.

If you think that either political party actually cares about people and not just power... you're naive.

He'd have to be a strict constitutionalist, which means not supporting spending tax dollars on entitlements, so no, I don't think I could.

What about borrowing 2 trillion for a tax cut?

I voted for bill Clinton after Bush broke his promise and raised taxes. The only Democrat I would vote for in the future would have to be a Tea Party member, and I don't see that happening.

Yes, I would. I even voted for Slick Willie back in the day. But nowadays it would take a strong commitment to upholding the ENTIRE constitution from the ENTIRE party, not just the ones the current party elite favor. I wouldn't be willing to risk giving the dems a majority as long as they pick and choose which amendments they like.

I have never voted for a democrat and don't see any circumstance where I would. The party has slowly moving to the left for the last 50 years and it has reached the point where its mission is to destroy the American form of government and replace it with a democratic socialist government.

The Voted for Trump didn't they ?

I don't see it as much more than a roll of the dice that he ended up a republican much less a "conservative"..

so the answer is - Hillary.

One thing I find kinda ironic is that if the Democrats had decided to co-opt Trump I think they could have done it easily - the man loves to be loved and loves to fight those who fight him.

So the scorched earth policy they took from the start pushed him to stick withthe guys in the RNC who like like him just a tiny bit more than the dems.

I really think if the Dems had gone in with a charm campaign , they could have had him eating out of their hands...??

Any Democrat I would vote for would be hated by the likes of Pelosi, Schumer and Warren to start with, so no, I doubt I will ever see that one get Nominated.
