The description says this begins a new era of high-end Blade branded products and it's exciting to see this segment getting some love. The Fusion 270 is a small heli that packs some serious punch. It's light, strong and comes with some really nice features baked in that demanding heli pilots can appreciate. Everything from the design to the included electronics add up to a fantastic machine that is ready to bind to your Spektrum radio. The Fusion 270 BNF is available for pre-order right now for $349.99 and is due to arrive in mid March.

I already have a CFX270, don't need another Blade that size.
But since it has safe on it..........................I might think about getting one. I am just finishing up my 470LM |

I recently sold my 270 CFX and got an Oxy 3 instead. I dont regret it but a good Blade beater with LHS parts availability is always good to have around. That's why I still fly my 180 CFX even thow i have the Oxy 2 as well. Blade has a good mix going on beetween great performing an durable "budget" micros .

Quoted: The Fusion 270 only has Agility and SAFE Panic Recovery, no dedicated stability mode. The SAFE Panic Recovery is like the 230 S, you still control collective and the negative collective is limited once the model is near level. Please keep in mind Panic Recovery is like stability mode in that you can still control the cyclic, tail rotor and collective. So after take off if you were to continuously activate panic recovery you would be flying in stability mode. Panic recovery is activated by pushing the GER channel past 124%, if panic recovery is not activated then the GER channel controls the tail rotor gain. For those that have a different preference in flight controllers you have a couple of options; a) The ARF model and purchase your preferred servos separately b) +$90 more for the BNFB gets you 4 servos and I am sure you could find another purpose for the AR636 (old airplane or maybe prop up the kitchen table). We tested on the vbar, ar7210bx, Ikon and the AR636A all fly very well. ar7210bx settings are in the manual. KST215MG's fit without issue and perform well. Or you could go for 3x MKS DS95 and 1x MKDS DS95i, its all about what you want to do... Best Regards, Brian Bremer Horizon Hobby, LLC |

Well, i am a (noob) Blade fan now and i think this copter looks nice.
It is well above my experience level. But its design looks like a nice step up from some of the other models. I like its look. If i had experience i would consider it. I think it is a good idea with the ARF version as well, again, it is a nice looking model. It is good to hear that Blade is sticking with the new sizes. I think this will lead to less confusion for new heli pilots. This is what i like about Blade and E-flite. They have a lot of entry-level and Intermediate-level airframes that are easy to get going. A lot of us might build if we were retired. But working full-time, we often just want to fly or experiment with an ARF. Imo. |

Ger > 124%
Hi Everyone,
Has anyone actually tried engaging the stability mode by setting GER > 124%? I purchased my Fusion 270 as a casual sport flyer (overkill, I know), so I would just like to confirm that this actually works with no ill-effects. Thanks in advance! |
