Yeah sorry guys have added a note to the post, that's the full range of larger HV, the 110 is a new model, quite compact size, really nice ESC for hi power 90mm setups.

Are we in 90 or 120+mm, I wouldn't use this one in any 127mm/12S set ups!

That's bad, you would need to ad number of extra capacitors to make it reliable on long term.

Just found this. Has anyone here tried it? It's very light: https://www.jphobby.eu/en/controller...-22s-opto.html

Is it a rebranded Flier? It looks like it. Others have done it.

No, personal experience with this particular brand, though.

It does look like one of the flier esc but the specs are all wrong on that website. I would be wary of running it close to 200A constant, the girl from flier told me for my needs of up to 180A WOT I should choose the 300A version! Of course she could just be trying to cover her arse so to speak the 300A one I have does not even get hot on the bench when run on 18s.
The price is getting up there too if its a Flier, that's like AUD$560!

Looks like this one:
http://www.fliermodel.com/en/fixed-w...-22s-200a.html

If the above Flier can handle 160-170A then it will be perfect for the Ramtec with the 800-83-510 motor on 16-18 cells.

I will ask flier about this model, see what they say. Its quite a slim package, no casework so the heatsink could be exposed to intake flow easily. I would imagine pricing around the AUD$450 mark tops.

given my experience in how far i've over amped a 100A v3, i dare say these are good to the 150a peak mark? might be a good option for my avanti 12s setup.
i regularly push my 100a v3 to 117a.
punched it through to 165a once... dunno if i'd make a habbit of doing that... but it sustained it for 10-15secs... got mighty warm though

Yeah the 110 OPTO is awesome, the new range has excellent thermal protection, I am running the 120A 6s one in the Heinkel HE112, hit thermal cutout twice during testing due to airflow, the plane glided past beeping at me! Lucky was able to land it on the circuit without issue. I have the 110 in stock, its very different beast to the old 100A plat V3, much bigger heatsink and case but still very manageable for 90mm jets etc.

Hey guys, finally some updates on fans, its been hard to get parts manufactured the last month or two as Tony has been hammered with some industrial work that takes up 110% of his time!

Anyway I have a few fans on the way again, after backorders there should be 2 left, if anyone is after a combo now is the time!

I wont be able to offer a fan on its own right now sorry, only combos with HET 800 series motors.

EXTREME RC Ramtec 127mm combo page

Don't forget the latest figures for 16s and 18s with the new 800-83-510:

16s: 60.42v / 146.3A / 8840W / 27,450rpm / 11kg (24.2lb) thrust.
18s: 65.34v / 168.1A / 10,988W / 29,220rpm / 12.5kg (27.5lb) thrust.

This new HET motor has not gone into a model yet afaik, hopefully someone will run one soon as 168A for 27.5lb thrust from a fan that weighs 1100 grams odd is hard to beat, and the 16s numbers are great.

Ramtec fans are in again, I have only a few available so if you were after a combo now is the time. I have no lead time for another batch, Tony has work booked for months from the sounds of it.
