Bombs Away!

Durafly's Bf-109e is here and it's a great looking electric warbird. It has an 1100mm wingspan and includes some nice features like scale e-retracts, flaps and even a functional bomb drop system with a scale bomb. How cool is that? You can do a mock bombing run and drop the bomb on the runway which should be great fun. The power system consists of an Aerostar 3736 770KV outrunnner spinning a 3-blade 11.5x8 prop. It's matched up with a 50A ESC and requires a 4S 2200mAH lipo. You get seven 9g servos included that control the ailerons, flaps, elevator, rudder and the bomb release. We're sure this is going to be a popular model with a cost of $198.71 in the USA warehouse. There are two color schemes to choose from, the Battle Of Britain Scheme and a Desert Scheme.

I can't put the markings and stencils on without a map of the locations.

Parkstormer!
It's going to be a tough call, between the two schemes--I've always wanted a yellow-nosed 109E, but that tropical scheme looks awesome. The tropical scheme would be almost too good a camo for where I fly, though. First world problems!

It sounds like the printed manual is not being shipped with the plane. That seems to be the new HK trend. Here's one place, where the Emil manual is available:

Thanks for the link but there is no decal placement information at all.

Where do all the stencils go etc...

The spitfire had fantastic information on all that as part of the build manual.
